Can I take Nutrafol Clear Skin with my acne prescription?

The direct effects of pairing general over-the-counter drugs (OTCs) or prescription medications with Clear Skin Nutraceutical have not been studied. However, a review of publicly available scientific data and healthcare advice was conducted to identify if any of the ingredients in Clear Skin Nutraceutical might interact with the below medications.
Antibiotics:                                                                                                                    The vitamin B5 and zinc found in Clear Skin Nutraceutical might reduce the absorption and thus efficacy of tetracycline antibiotics (e.g., doxycycline, minocycline). While not a safety concern, we recommend that individuals take Clear Skin Nutraceutical at least 2-3 hours apart from antibiotics. We also recommend consulting with a trusted healthcare provider about supplementing with Berberine (an ingredient found in Clear Skin Nutraceutical) and the use of azithromycin.
Isotretinoin:                                                                                                                    We are not aware of any evidence of adverse health risks for patients taking Isotretinoin with the ingredients in Clear Skin Nutraceutical.
Spironolactone:                                                                                                            We are not aware of any evidence of adverse health risks for patients taking spironolactone with the ingredients in Clear Skin Nutraceutical.

Will Clear Skin Nutraceutical prevent acne?

Individuals can begin taking Clear Skin Nutraceutical at different stages of their skin wellness journey, including as a proactive tool within their skincare regimen. Nutrafol's clinical testing was completed on those already experiencing mild to moderate acne, so although some use Clear Skin Nutraceutical as a proactive supplement, Nutrafol does not have clinical testing to validate if it reduces acne from ever occurring, as it is not measurable.
